Just a quick note to let you all know that things are going swimmingly over here! Emma is a sweet, sweet baby, and no news is good news in this case. I don’t want to jinx myself or in any way disparage her sister (who we think is just the bee’s knees), but Emma has such an easy temperament, and everything just seems to be easier the second time around. That’s not to say that having two little girls doesn’t keep us busy – I’ll admit to being a wee bit tired, but overall, this has been easier than EXPECTED so far. Right now, I have achieved the ultimate goal of every stay-at-home mom of more than one kid…the synchronized nap! I’m going to try to wrap up a few drafts I started over the past couple of months and get them uploaded for you over the next hour while the girls (*fingers crossed*) sleep, but be aware they will be in completely random order.
