Believe it or not, I had not forgotten that I owe you Easter posts, dear readers. Here’s part 2 of 3, with part 1 being our Easter egg hunt at our house on Good Friday. That evening, we went to Columbia to visit with Michael’s parents (a.k.a. Mimi and Papa).
On Saturday, we went to the Riverbanks Zoo, and had a great time! For some reason I don’t have still pictures of her favorite part (I’m guessing it was the lighting?), but she loved the fish the most.
Michael’s father did get some great shots of Lily when we were outdoors, though. LOVE this one!

Halt the presses! I’m actually in a picture WITH Lily! Yay!

Snacking and checking out the monkeys.

Lily got to ride a merry-go-round for the first time. I do think she liked it, but you can’t really tell from these pictures. She looks…um…stoic?
Okay, she just looks a little goofy here.
She takes her carousel-ing very seriously, clearly. She did say, “mo mo” (more) when it was all over, so again, I do think she liked it.
I think.

After our zoo visit, Michael and his dad went to a USC baseball game…
…while Michael’s mom, Lily, and I came home and Mimi made yummy, but somewhat labor-intensive cookies.

I also allowed Lily to get a minor head injury when she pushed a rocking chair that rocked back and knocked her between the eyes.
Bad, Mommy, bad. :-(

Head injury aside, it was a great day! Stay tuned for part 3 of 3 sometime soon, I hope.
