You may have noticed that Lily is a little bit toothy these days.
Our little lady has TWELVE teeth so far, and considering that her fingers rarely leave her mouth [except, of course, in all pictures from yesterday and today and I’m too lazy to go find you one of the thousands from other folders that show her fingers in her mouth] it seems there are always more along the way.
Does that at all explain the constant runny nose? Some people say that, but I don’t know if they are really related. Regardless, you may have also noticed that she is often a bit snotty these days, too. It’s like she’s turning into a real toddler right before our eyes! :-)
Reminds me of the time I had to write a report for a patient, and had to figure out how to write up the fact that this young adolescent picked his nose and ate his findings during our evaluation. Believe me, it was relevant. But how do you put “he picked his nose and ate the booger” politely in a professional psychological report? I believe my solution involved the words “retrieved,” “consumed,” and “nasal mucus,” but I can’t be sure.
But I digress.
Lily has lots of teeth.
She also plays with toys.
See?
