I should probably start by admitting that I’m so tragically unhip, I’m not entirely sure what a “baller” is.
I think it’s just someone who plays ball (like basketball, maybe?), but all Merriam-Webster.com would tell me is that it could also be a melon baller, which is certainly not the direction I was going with this post.
But I was struggling for a title other than the gimmee “Let’s play ball.” I figured that since a good number of my 5 readers are related to me and older than I am, we can all pretend it’s a hip and appropriate title.
Shazam!
So on October 7th, I realized that Lily was ready to “play ball.” She would throw it back and forth, and it was just the cutest thing ever*.
*That day.
I was home by myself and set up the camera on the mini tripod so I could capture Lily’s new skill.
Well, you can take videography off of my list of talents.
But it’s still a cute video of MOST of Lily playing ball and repeatedly toppling over in excitement, and a less cute video of me saying “oh, yay!” over and over again.
You’ll just have to imagine this face on top of the headless, ball-playing wonder.
