On June 6th, we went down to Columbia to visit with Michael’s parents. We all went to the zoo, and had a great time! Lily was mostly interested in making faces with us rather than looking at the animals, but that’s to be expected.

That night, Michael and I went out to dinner (prepare to be shocked…we went to the Olive Garden!) and left Lily alone for the first time. I’m happy to report that it went much better than I expected…in spite of my predictions, no tears were shed after all.
Oh, and Lily didn’t cry either! :-)
Fortunately, no pics of this, but I did find spit-up in my hair while out on my date. Sigh. How times have changed.
